Blogwatch: Inside Facebook

If you are trying Social marketing for your non-profit cause (or for profit brand), you probably have pages on Facebook, Twitter etc. Facebook is by far the richest (in terms of media, photos and long content) and most popular social medium. But popularity has a cost – presence on Facebook can be potentially detrimental (see our four-part series on how not to be on Facebook).

Inside Facebook is a blog that addresses the how-to issues concerning your Facebook page. It gives you a rich mine of case studies of different brands and causes, updates on the latest technologies possible on Facebook, the latest news and trends (like the top 20 pages), what some of the best brands are doing on Facebook, as well as a number of guidelines on how to optimize the 500 million plus network to your best advantage. It’s a blog I refer to myself whenever I need a Facebook tip.

So if you’re an agency guy trying to promote your client (non R K SWAMY BBDO people please ignore this blog exists ;), we certainly don’t want your comnpetition) or an NGO blogger pushing your cause, here’s an infinite source for getting the best out of Facebook!

What am I? A body and brain, products of carbon concatenation chemistry, an intelligence and conscience to enable bits of DNA evolve. Maybe a pharaoh, maybe a dung-beetle, never more than a safe conduit for some genes.
